About FavApp

FavApp is a catalogue of apps made by independent developers and small teams. Listing an app is free. Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live, so what you find here has working links, honest descriptions and no malware we know of.

Why it exists

The big app stores are crowded. A good app from a two-person team can disappear under thousands of others on day one. We give those apps a clean page, a category and a fair chance to be found, by people and by search engines.

Bloom or Doom

Before you spend months building something, you can pitch the idea here. Members leave a bloom if they would use it and a doom if they would not, and say why in the comments. Ideas that gather enough support get a “Bloomed” badge and can be turned into a full listing in one step.

How we stay trustworthy

• Every app listing is reviewed by a person.
• Store links must point at the official store; shortened links are not accepted.
• Submitted links are checked against Google Safe Browsing.
• Paid placements, when we offer them, are always labelled “Sponsored”.
• Anyone with an account can report a listing, idea or comment.
